Vases for Shelves, Sideboards & Small Spaces
A vase does its best work when it earns its surface. In a smaller home where every shelf and sideboard has to justify its occupants, a piece that adds both texture and height — without demanding attention it hasn't earned — is worth having.
The pieces here range from compact bud vases for a bedside shelf to taller statement pieces for a hallway console. Most work with or without stems — many look better empty than half-filled with the wrong thing.
Sizes at a glance
Under 20cm — best for shelves, bedside surfaces, and grouped arrangements on a sideboard. Works with short-stemmed flowers or as a standalone decorative piece.
20–35cm — best for sideboards, console tables, and living room shelves. Tall enough to hold most cut flowers, compact enough not to overpower a small surface.
35cm+ — best as a solo statement piece on a hallway console or larger sideboard. Check the base diameter if placing on a narrow surface.
Before You Buy
Look for a base diameter under 12cm so the vase doesn't dominate the surface. A taller, narrower profile — rather than a wide, low bowl — suits a hallway console better and adds height without taking floor space visually.
All vases are sold without stems. The product images may show styled arrangements — these are for display purposes only.
The pieces in this collection are intended for indoor use. Ceramic and stone vases can be damaged by frost — keep them inside during winter.
